The figure on the left in the catalogue illustration is that of Zhang Guolao, one of the Eight Daoist Immortals, and can be identified by the 'Fish Drum' (yugu) that he holds. The accompanying figure may also represent one of the Eight Immortals, although he cannot be positively identified.
