A rare Schuco sand toy Salamander
of blue velvet, black and white markings, red velvet underside, black bead eyes, felt feet, replaced rubber stopper in underside and metal rimmed white card disc with hand written ink number '2044' --8¼in. (21cm.) high, circa 1932 and a green felt lizard with white felt eyes, yellow underside and aluminium and cork stopper --13½in. (34cm.) long
Originally from the Schuco Archive auction in the 1970s.
