A red lacquer nut-shaped box netsuke
carved in relief with scrolling leafy branches -- 1 3/8in. (3.5cm.) high; and a gilt lacquer box netsuke, inlaid in ivory and tortoiseshell with a boy kneeling down playing with a tortoise, signature to reverse -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) high, (minor nibbles).
