(76.3 x 76.3cm) overall; a letter of provenance on News of the World headed paper stating the the vendor of the shirt had won their competition; four other various letters of provenance; and a colour photograph of the vendor receiving the shirt at Wembley (7)

    The above shirt was worn by George Best in the 1970 F.A.Cup 5th Round match against Northampton Town. In the match played on 7th February 1970 at the County Ground, Manchester United defeated Northampton Town 8-2, George Best equalling the F.A.Cup scoring record by scoring six goals

    The shirt was won by the vendor in a News of the World competition
