    A REGENCY BRASS-LINED EBONISED BRACKET TIMEPIECE

    The white enamel Roman chapter disc with blued moon hands signed Arnold & Dent, London, foliate-cast and chased gilt mask, the movement with rectangular plates mounted with a large gilt platform with underslung lever escapement with cut bi-metallic compensated balance and flat blued spring, single chain fusee with maintaining power, the plain backplate with engraved repeat signature, the case with flush-fitting brass handle to the detachable stepped top revealing a glazed escapement viewing portal, brass-lined glazed sides and on bun feet
