The Rankine-Taylor Antiques Collection, removed from 34 Dollar Street, Cirencester, Glos.
Leslie Rankine-Taylor of Edinburgh began trading in Cirencester in 1969 at 12 Dollar Street, an Elizabethan brew house, that became home to her expansive and eclectic collection of British and Continental Furniture, Works of Art, Pictures and Curios.
Her inspired window displays became renowned locally and with her international client base that included such distinguished names as actress Katherine Hepburn and cricket commentator and wine buff, the late John Arlott.
The collection is sold to allow Leslie more time with her family and friends and to pursue her other interests.
