A ROMAN GLASS RIBBED BOWL Circa Late 1st Century B.C.-Early 1st Century A.D. Amber in color, the hemispherical bowl sagged with sixteen vertical ribs, with three horizontal wheel cut grooves on the interior, two in the center of the bowl and one just below the rounded rim, on a flat base 2¼ in. (5.7 cm) high; 4½ in. (11.4 cm) diameter
