The rectangular top enclosing a panel depicting a twilight forest scene painted by La Principessa Maria Gabriella di Savoia, inscribed A Tante Lilian,/avec tous mes voeux/Ella/28.XI.96, with reeded legs joined by concave stretchers on hoof feet, one stamped 'P.F. 2050'

H.R.H. Princess Lilian of Belgium was the second wife of Leopold III, King of the Belgians, (1901-1983). This table with its inset painting by Princess Maria Gabriella di Savoia was a gift to her aunt for her 80th birthday.
