A RUBY AND DIAMOND NECKLACE
The front section designed as baguette-cut diamond scrolls suspending a cushion and a pear-shaped ruby weighing 9.64 and 8.72 carats and baguette-cut diamond clusters, to the pav-set diamond demi-boule neckchain, mounted in 18K yellow and white gold, 40.0 cm.
With certificate 34454 dated 25/8/99 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin with no indications of thermal enhancement. Due to their exceptional transition colour, these gemstones may also be called pink sapphires.
