A Safavid brown and cream glazed lustre bowl
on a short foot, decorated to the centre with a roundel reserved with scrolling foliage, the sides with a border of interlocking triangular panels reverved with stylised palmettes and foliage, a band of further scrolling foliage to the exterior -- 7¼in. (18.7cm.) diam, (rim cracked and riveted with a section from another piece).
