A Satsuma globular teapot and cover
with wicker carrying handle and short spout, painted and gilt with shaped panels of snow covered landscapes, dignitaries on terraces and birds amongst flowers, all on a ground of further floral panels and foliate motifs -- 4¾in. (12cm.) high, signed; a small kettle and cover, decorated with dragon panels on a geometric ground -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) high, signed; and a pair of small dishes with scholars and boys in an interior -- 5in. (12.7cm.) diam, (the kettle with damaged cover).
