A Satsuma ovoid jar and flattened cover
Late 19th century
with pierced finial, painted and gilt with scattered maple leaves and blossom -- 6 1/8in. (15.5cms) high, impressed seal to footrim; and a Satsuma cream glazed tripod koro and cover with moulded elephant head handles and carved fret band to the shoulder beneath a collar of lappets -- 4½in. (11.5cms) high, signed, wood box.
