The slatted rectangular top, above the rail with bronze plaque inscribed 'Cassillis', on turned baluster legs joined by conforming stretchers

Possibly the Earls of Cassillis, Culzean Castle, Ayrshire, created Marquesses of Ailsa in 1831.
