with fixed bulbous blue striated eyes with shaded lids, closed mouth, applied ears, blonde mohair wig and eight ball joint fixed body, in original elaborate dark plum satin frock with checked silk panels, collar and lappets, trimmed with small brass buttons, piping and lace, buff velvet and crimson satin bonnet decorated with ostrich feather plumes and original red socks and shoes -- circa 1880s, 23in. (58cm.) high, stamped Medaille d'Or on the body (damaged face)
