    A set of Chinese export mother of pearl inlaid wooden chairs and sofas
    comprising two shaped sofas with cabriole legs and scroll feet, decorated with birds in flight and on riverbanks beside lotus flowers, overhanging trees and rockwork, the backs, arms, aprons and legs further carved in relief with foliate motifs -- 37¾in. x 47¼in. (94.6cms x 120cms); four chairs en suite -- 36¼in. x 20½in. (92cms x 52cms), all with accompanying cushions; and a further horse-shoe backed corner chair en suite, (old wear).
