A SET OF EIGHT BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS' DISHES
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
Each dish is decorated to the centre with five lotus heads in a scrolling foliate design. The cavettos further decorated with lotus and chrysanthemums on scrolling foliage below a band of classic scroll to the rim. The reverse similarly decorated.
Each dish 5 ¼ in. (13.3 cm.) diam.
