Each faux painted with a tablet crest with central fruit in an urn flanked by foliate decoration above ring and baluster-turned stiles flanking a foliate decorated slat, over a trapezoidal cane seat, on ring-turned legs, joined by turned stretchers

John Hodgkinson (1800-1858) was working on Hanover Street from 1827 until 1842. A similar set to these is in the collection of the Maryland Historical Society.
