marked with the Cyrillic initials of Maria Semenova, Moscow, 1899-1908
The bowls fig-shaped, the backes with vari-colour foliate sprays on stippled ground, with blue pellet borders, the partly twisted handles with partly partly enamelled knop finials, gilt white metal, marked on handles, in original velvet and silk-lined wooden case, the cover stamped in Russian 'Purveyor to the court of His Imp[erial] High[ness] I.E. Morozov St. Petersburg' with Imperial warrant
