A Sevres bleu nouveau two-handled cup and saucer (tasse a toilette et soucoupe)
1765, blue interlaced L's enclosing M, painter's mark of Aloncle, incised 00 and 8 to cup and 3 to saucer
The cup with gilt-edged C-scroll and loop handles, painted with exotic birds among trees and shrubs within double gilt-line kidney-shaped cartouches between gilt-line and dentil rims (slight rubbing to well of saucer, minute chip to rim of cup and minute wear to one cartouche)
