A Shibayama style ivory dressing table set
comprising a hand mirror, button hook, glove stretcher, five assorted brushes, a small spoon and a pair tweezers, all inlaid in mother-of-pearl, stained ivory, coral and lacquered with egrets, cranes, a paecock and peahen, further birds and insects among lotus lotus, peonies and bamboo -- the mirror 9¾.in (24.8cm) long, (minor losses, comb missing).
