the front carved as a noh mask, the reverse with engraved initials
a novelty vesta case in the form of a boot with engraved foliate decoration, Dutch, late nineteenth century -- 6.5cms; a silver case, each side with stamped putti, German, late nineteenth century -- 5.5cms; and a silver-gilt vesta case, each side stamped in high relief with scrollwork, one side with applied skull and cross keys and with enamelled number "One", American, late nineteenth century -- 6.2cms.
