A Silver Plated Hors D'Oeuvres Tray For The White Star Line Commemorating The Launch Of R.M.S. Titamic

An oval silver plated hors d'oeuvres tray which is engraved on the front with the O.S.N.C. logo, and the White Star Line house flag along with the inscription: "Presented to the Board of Directors of the White Star Line on board R.M.S. Titanic". On the back side it is engraved with the O.S.N.C. logo, and White Star house flag as well as the inscription: "By Pursur R.F. Barker/on behalf of Arthur Price/Ashton Birmingham/April 8th 1912/TO COMMEMORATE HER MAIDEN VOYAGE" The feet of the tray are made up of four cherubs which are modeled after the cherubs on the grand staircase of the R.M.S. Titanic, and each is clasping the letters "AP". One cherub is stamped with the makers mark "AP" on the base. Inset on the top of the tray is a piece of glass which is etched with the silhouette of the R.M.S. Titanic.
