carved of maple, the oval bowl with a bear effigy, its head featuring a protruding snout and raised above the rim on one end, its tail on the other
Length: 14 in. (35.5 cm.)
Collected by Mrs. Burt on the Crow Creek Reservation around 1885. Gifted to David W. Clark in 1926 because his Indian name was Mato Catka, Left-handed Bear.
