(Krug) the baluster body moulded in slight relief, gilt and painted with enamels in various colours, with three oblique panels, one depicting the portrait busts of an aristocratic couple, flanked by scrolls, further with large palmettes, the upper border with a blue band hatched in white underneath a brown band with yellow hatches, the flat cover inscribed with E R flanking a wheel above 1697, connected with a ball thumbpiece to the handle, the foot mounted en suite
