A SMALL COMPRESSED GLOBULAR FAMILLE VERTE BOTTLE VASE 19TH CENTURY The compressed body is decorated with a scholar resting on a rocky precipice holding a cup of wine before the moon, shaded by a leafing tree. The neck is inscribed with a four-line poem and one seal describing the scene, all raised on a splayed base with unglazed foot. 6 ¾ in. (17.1 cm.) high
