Viren Bhagat works with his two brothers Bharat and Rajan, in the exclusive Om Chambers in Bombay, India. The firm has been in existence for almost one hundred years and was founded on the West Coast of India in the small village of Lathi.
The cornerstone of Bhagat's philosophy is one of heritage and refinement. Drawing on the rich history of the Mughul Emperors (1526-1858), each piece has a reflection and spirit of this defining culture, it is combined with an individual touch almost reminiscent of the Parisian Houses of the twentieth century. Every object must be wearable and in keeping with contemporary style. It is this magical combination that has made the firm of Bhagat one of the leading designers of today.
The choker and earrings utilizes traditional Indian materials, natural pearls, flat cut and briolette diamonds along with woven silk cords. With a recurring lotus theme the true philosophy is embedded in these elegant jewels and is a perfect example of a culture evolving.
