A Spode green-ground botanical part dessert-service
Circa 1820, puce marks and pattern number 2470
Painted with specimen bouquets and flower-sprays within gilt dentil surrounds, the apple-green borders moulded with trailing white flowers, with gilt-line rims, comprising:
Two circular sauce-tureens and stands, with gilt butterlfy handles (one bowl cracked)
A shaped rectangular two-handled centre-dish
Two shaped rectangular two-handled dishes
Four shell-shaped dishes
Two large quatrefoil dishes
Four smaller quatrefoil dishes
Twenty-three plates
Four shell-shaped dishes similar, the flowers within gilt scroll cartouches, red marks and pattern number 2705
