A Steiff teddy bear
with blond mohair, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, boot button eyes, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs, hump and button in ear -- 23in. (58.5cm.) high, circa 1908 (overall wear, balding inside lower legs, end of one foot with hole, pads recovered, stuffing shifted, lacks nose stitching); with an original photograph of this bear and his original owner; and a 1950s English cotton-plush teddy bear --7½in. (19cm.) high (very worn)
