A Steiff teddy bear
with reddish gold mohair, boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads, hump and button unusually on reverse of ear with remains of white tag --19¾in. (50cm.) high, circa 1910 (bald on backs of legs, thinning to fronts of legs, chest, top of head, arms and lower back and slight damage to pads)
