    A sterling silver yachting trophy from the Shelburne Yacht Club
    Birk's Silversmiths (British, early 20th century)
    A sterling silver yachting trophy in the form of a three handled loving cup. The trophy is chased and engraved with the following: "Shelburne Yacht Club/International Ocean Race/Halifax to Shelburne/August 28th 1905/Schooner Class/Won by/Commodore Laurence Minot/with Schr Hope Leslie". The back side of the cup is engraved with a view of the town of Shelburne.
    8½ x 10 in. (21.6 x 25.4 cm.)
