    A STONE SCULPTURE OF BUDDHA, NORTHERN QI-STYLE
    standing with his left hand lowered in Varada Mudra, wearing a tight fitting calf-length mantle, with carved robes draped over his left shoulder and tied at the chest, the face with serene downcast expression, the hair carved with layers of tight curls, traces of gold leaf and coloured pigments -- 50¼in. (127.5cm.) high, on a square metal stand -- 67¼in. (178cm.) high including the stand.
