executed in guache on paper laid on a canvas backing, depicting a springtime landscape with Western architecture and figures, cut to different widths and some reduced in height, some panels printed on verso 'ref. 670, design no. 457' and 'Made in China'

By repute the suite was intended for the Russian Embassy in Beijing but not installed.
