Rectangular box with rounded corners, the cover set with a square enamel plaque depicting Diana and Endymion, within a gold husk and opaque black enamel frame, bordered by trophies of Love between engine-turned anthemion and reeding, the base enamelled in translucent blue on lozenge guilloché ground, bordered with taille d'épargne enamel with acanthus paillons, the sides enamelled in translucent blue on concentric circle guilloché ground, the corner pilasters decorated with leaf and lozenge borders
