A SWISS ENAMELLED GOLD SNUFF-BOX SET WITH A WATCH COMPARTMENT GENEVA, CIRCA 1810 navette-shaped box with two hinged compartments of unequal size, the smaller opening to reveal a white enamel watch dial and regulator, the larger cover set with three enamel panels painted with colourful floral sprays and selections of fruit, the sides and base set with panels of dark-blue translucent enamel on an engine-turned ground, all within opaque white enamel filets, the sides centred with taille d’épargne sky-blue and black enamel chased musical trophies and palmettes, the timepiece movement with cylinder escapement and plain balance wheel, inside of watch compartment scratched with the number 29, in original red leather case 3¾ in. (95 mm.) wide
