oval box, the cover inset with an oval enamel plaque depicting a family in an interior, rose diamond surround, the centre of the base richly chased in three-colour gold depicting a dog barking at a bird in a tree on a frosted ground, the cover, sides and base with translucent red enamel on an engine-turned ground, the borders chased with leaves and scrolls, the side panels with urns overflowing with flowers
