A Tang painted pottery equestrian musician
decorated in ochre, cream and amber glazes, the figure turned to his left, a drum attached to the saddle, wearing a hood and long tunic with billowing sleeves, the horse with its head slightly turned to the left -- 15¾in. (40cms) high.
Thermoluminescence Test Number is consistent with the dating of this lot.
