A Tibetan mottled dark-green soapstone votive plaque
of rectangular form, carved with a seated bearded figure holding a staff with dragon's head terminal, flanked by ducks, deer, stags and a Buddhist lion among lotus and waves, the reverse carved in relief with lines of sanscrit 2.in (7cm) high, 17th Century.
