A verte/Imari Royal armorial oblong octagonal salt
painted in underglaze blue, coloured enamels and gilt with a central coat-of-arms, a crown and pendant order between floral ribboned roundels and scrolling foliage, the sides with bowls of finger citorns and peaches on lotus flower and leaf supports -- 2in. (7cm.) wide, circa 1720, (minor damage).
The arms are those of the French Royal Family.
