Thin green glazes of this tone are sometimes referred to as melon or apple green. A pair of dishes of similar size with Yongzheng marks in the T.Y. Chao Collection were included in the exhibition of Ch'ing Porcelain from the Wah Kwong Collection, Chinese University of Hong Kong, 1973, no. 36, and in the exhibition of Ming and Ch'ing Porcelain from the Collection of the T.Y. Chao Family Foundation, Hong Kong Museum of Art, 1978, no. 51. A Yongzheng-marked bowl covered with a similar glaze was sold in these rooms, 22 March 1999, lot 330.
