Compare also the Chenghua-marked Kangxi vase of this form and decoration under a bluish-green glaze from the British Museum illustrated in Oriental Ceramics, Kodansha Series, vol. 5, fig. 231. The shape is similar to the 'three-string' vase under a peachbloom glaze offered in the present sale as lot 557.
