Cylindrical, of oval section, applied with a gold initial -- 2½ins. (6.4cms.); a Victorian trick opening vesta case, rectangular, ribbed overall, Sampson Mordan, London 1884; a further box-type trick opener, the cover engraved with a crest and initials, William Summers, London 1881; and a circular vesta case engraved with scrollwork, Birmingham 1902
