painted with Orpheus, Euridice and a putto in the Underworld, titled Orpheus et Euridice to the reverse, the border gilt with scrolling foliage between shaped claret-ground panels, within thin pale-yellow-ground bands and gilt line rim, blue shield mark, late 19th century (small footrim chips, light rubbing) -- 24.5cm. diam.
