painted with a scantily clad young woman, arranging flowers in a vase, within a gilt roundel enriched in raised gilt ornament, emblematic of Spring, titled 'Printemps' to the reverse, the border with six pale-green and rose-pink shaped sections, reserved upon a white ground enriched with raised gilt flowers and scrolling foliage, below a brown band, with gilt dot and dash ornament, blue beehive mark, late 19th century (some light rubbing to the gilding) -- 24.5cm. diam.
