    depicting figures passing beneath a torii on a misty, tree-strewn riverbank -- 12 3/8in. x 19in. (31.5cms x 48.2cms), signed S. Takeda; and a further watercolour depicting two ladies carrying baskets and gathered vegetables, walking home from the fields at sunset -- 18¾in. x 12½in. (47.6cms x 31.7cms), signed Takayama, both framed and glazed. (2)
