    Wakizashi Mumei (Osafune School), 15/16th Century; Katana Mei: Bishu Osafune Norimitsu saku, dated Oei 2 (1395)
    The wakzashi blade honzukuri, iorimune, deep torii zori with chugissaki, itamehada with ji-nie, o-midare hamon of nioi, midare-komi boshi, bo-hi both sides, o-suriage nakago, 17in. (45.4cm.); in its ribbed black lacquer saya, shakudo nanako fuchi-kashira with warriors in orie takazogan signed Soheishi Niudo Soten sei, similar menuki, iron tsuba carved and gilt with warriors, inscribed with the full Soten signature, shakudo nanako kozuka with warriors in iroe takazogan, Goto school, 19th century; the katana blade honzukuri, iorimune, koshi zori with extended chugissaki, mokume-itamehada with ji-nie, hamon is a regular gunome of nioi in Yoshii style, pointed o-maru boshi, ubu nakago, 27in. (68.8cm); in a service mounting, with red Field Officer's tassel, 20th century, with documentation (2)
