LATE EASTERN ZHOU/EARLY WESTERN HAN DYNASTY, CIRCA 3RD CENTURY BC
The center in the shape of a bi, the surface carved with tiny comma spirals within narrow borders on both sides and flanked by two reticulated birds projecting from the edges, the top and bottom edges with residue of bronze encrustation; together with a dark brown and russet jade scabbard slide, Ming dynasty, carved on top with scrolls and a demi-taotie mask at one end
