of square shape, carved and pierced with two dancing figures and birds amongst flowers and foliage -- 3in. (7.6cm.) wide; a mottled pale jade model of a coiled serpent with a rat crawling on its back -- 2½in. (6.3cm.) wide; a circular white jade plaque, carved and pierced with a bat and fruit amongst flowers and foliage -- 3in. (7.6cm.) diam.; and a pale celadon jade oval pendant, carved in low relief with a four character mark to one side, the reverse with a portrait of a European figure -- 2¼in. (5.6cm.) high, (minor wear).
