    Lot Essay

The above shirt was worn by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink in the match against Arsenal at the beginning of season 1997-98. Hasselbaink wanted to have the word Jimmy on the reverse of his shirt rather than his surname but the Football Association knocked this idea back and from then on his surname has appeared on his Leeds United shirts.
