A wood netsuke of a hannya dancer incised signature of Kangyoku, 19th Century carved wearing long robes, the long hair is detailed in red lacquer, the face in gilt, incised signature to the underside -- 1 7/8in. (4.8cm.) high; a walnut netsuke carved with a samurai -- 1½in. (3.7cm.) high; a bamboo netsuke of ruyi sprays -- 2 3/8in. (6cm.) high; and a bamboo netsuke of a dog -- 2in. (5.1cm.) long, (old wear).
