A YELLOW-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE 'MEDALLION' BOWL
DAOGUANG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850)
The exterior is enamelled with four pink-ground medallions, each enclosing a character forming the phrase Fori Changming, 'Eternal light of Buddhism', surrounded by stylised lotus sprays on a bright lemon yellow ground.
